Kettu
Kettu (Vulpes vulpes) on punertavanruskea pitkähäntäinen koiraeläin.
Ketun ruumiin pituus on 60-85 cm, häntä 35-55 cm ja paino 4-10 kg. Kettua tavataan yleisenä kaikenlaisista ympäristöistä ulkosaariston luodoilta tuntureille. Kettu on yksineläjä ja liikkuu hämärässä ja yöllä. Ketun pääravintoa ovat pikkujyrsijät, mutta kaikkiruokaisena kettu syö marjojakin. Ketun pennut (2-12) syntyvät huhti-toukokuussa ja pentue hajoaa syyskesällä. Uros voi osallistua pentujen hoitoon. Kettu voi elää 14-15-vuotiaaksi.
